For more than 83 years, our United Way has brought people together to care for one another. We raise funds, mobilize volunteers, help to strengthen agencies and identify critical and unmet needs in the community.

The DDRB is a public taxing entity, commonly known as a "Senate Bill 40 Board" that enters into funding contracts with agencies that serve individuals with developmental disabilities in St. Charles County. They Ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities have quality opportunities and choices to be fully included in society.

Disaboom.com was founded by Dr. J. Glen House, a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation who is also a quadriplegic. His firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and those whose lives they touch has driven the Disaboom.com mission: to create the first comprehensive, evolving source of information, insight, and personal engagement for the disability community.

The St. Louis Office for Developmental Disability Resources (DD Resources) was created by the Missouri legislature in 1969 and incorporated in 1980 to ensure individuals with developmental disabilities in the City of St. Louis have quality services, choices, and full inclusion.
